Why We Started

In a country as diverse and vibrant as India, education is not just a right, it is a bridge to opportunity. Yet, for millions of children, this bridge remains out of reach. Despite the Right to Education Act making schooling free and compulsory for children aged 6–14, the harsh reality persists: thousands still drop out each year due to poverty, lack of resources, or inadequate access to learning support.

Witnessing these inequalities up close inspired us to take action. We saw how a lack of guidance, mentorship, and materials could dim a child’s potential. We believed that every child, regardless of background, deserves a fair chance to learn, dream, and succeed.

How We Started

Educating Buddy began as a small effort during the COVID-19 pandemic, when schools were shut and online learning created barriers for underprivileged students. What started with one student and one volunteer quickly grew into a community of learners and mentors united by a shared purpose to make education accessible, engaging, and empowering.

From teaching children in local neighborhoods to organizing book drives and online tutoring sessions, our initiative evolved into a structured program. Over time, we have built partnerships, expanded to multiple states, and developed innovative learning experiences that combine academic support with real world awareness.

How We Are Helping

At Educating Buddy, our mission is to ensure that every child not only goes to school but truly learns and thrives. We work directly in classrooms, equipping them with books, stationery, and digital tools that make learning inclusive and joyful. Our personalized tutoring programs, both in-person and online, help children build strong foundations in math, English, and science — while nurturing confidence and curiosity.

Through our Global Bridge initiative, we help young learners become informed and empathetic global citizens. Children explore global issues, history, and current affairs, understanding how their voices matter in shaping a better future.

Our programs aim to break educational barriers and plant the seeds of lifelong learning : one child, one classroom, and one story at a time.
